La Nueva Canción de la East Bay blends East Bay rock with the progressive elements of Los Jaivas and the indigenous rock style of Sol y Lluvia. This work builds on the musical legacies of Chilean folk legends Violeta Parra and Victor Jarra—establishing a new branch of South America’s New Song Movement.
